Project description

The entire construction project carried out at the ArcelorMittal (AMMC) plant consisted of carrying out the following works:

Demolition and construction of concrete bases:
  • Demolition of existing buildings;
  • Excavation under existing discharge lines;
  • Temporary supports for existing residue discharge lines;
  • Construction of new concrete bases to support the new waste discharge lines.
Camp infrastructure, Mont-Wright:
  • Excavation, backfill and construction of the sanitary sewer and drinking water network of the ArcelorMittal camp;
  • Supply and installation of camp wastewater treatment systems;
  • Supply and installation of drinking water treatment and distribution systems for the camp;
  • Supply and installation of the camp’s electrical network including emergency generators.
Foundation of the main buildings:
  • Construction of the foundations for the expansion of the ArcelorMittal (Concentrator) plant;
  • Construction of the foundations for the expansion of the ArcelorMittal welding workshop;
  • Construction of the foundations for the new garage for 400-ton trucks.
